I have a Really old Registration code and I would like to run a newer game. Every time I run my old game I get a runtime error now, So i can not even mess around in LocalMode. My runtime error includes Tedit Tw2002 and Bigbang, so when i run any of the TradeWars related programs I get this error. I was wondering If there is any possible way to get a newer reg code from my old one. My reg code is From when I was Co-Owner of a BBS called Thunderbolt. This BBS no longer exists and was based in Chicago. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks

Suggest you post the same question at http://twgs.com and there might be several folks
there with suggestions that might be willing to help out.

If you are using the old dos door versions of TWGS make sure the patch has been run on them. That allows tradewars to be run on a p200+ machine.

You can use your current reg codes on the newer version of tradewars, but your TWGS, unless registered, could only support 4 logins. I would register a TWGS, and use your current reg codes and stop using the dos doors :)

for runtimes 202: find tppatch, though you might need to run tp7p5.com for 200 [example: pre bre v988] (think tp7p5fix is the name, is memory resident).

However, as Toad mentioned, TWGS registration is more efficent.
