Here is a question to get your brain juices flowing. Does Stardock recycle limpet mines. I mean you go in they find 1 they charge you 5000 credits to take it off. Do they go and sell it back to the exporium or does it get thrown away. And if they do sell them back to the exporium what time does the ship leave from Rylos, so I can go rob it and blow it up? While I am on the subject. If a Battleship leaves Sol moving at 4 turns per warp and a Havoc Leaves Rylos moving at 3 tpw who will make it to Stardock first?

Well first, Items in the game are not real physical objects, their bits that just get created and deleted, upon limpet removal (and even ship destruction) the record is reassigned the the next item bought, so no there is no limpet transport you can rob.
Second, Normally the lower WPS ship will move faster, but there is a setting that gives the SYSOP the ability to increase, decrease, or even do away with travel delays, so it depends on the game your playing whether or not the faster ship gets there sooner or at the same time.

The Ship Delay Setting available to the SysOp would detrmine this. This setting could make all the ships move equally or it can allow the hovoc to move a set distance in 3/4 the time it takes the battleship to move the same distance. The time it takes could be .75sec vs 1sec or 9sec vs 12sec. This all depends on the exact setting the SysOp uses and the distance travelled. More detailed information will be posted at Taz's Underground!

Its not a matter of who gets to Stardock first. Its how many turns they used to get there.

Except you are all missing the obvious...Rylos and Sol are not always the same number of hops away from stardock.

These were just joke questions. I am guessing not too many people joke around, cause not one answer was good. I know that the limpets are not actually sent to sd. I was just saying that SD makes money selling limpets, plus they charge to take them off.
