When adding new game from configure screen, after typing Game name I hit enter and get a List index out of bounds (1) error. Game name is only 40 chrs long (if that even matters). Oh and did I mention, this happens when adding second game, or third or forth. Doesn't seem to cause any problems............ yet.. |

Let me do some checking on this. If memory serves me correctly another sysop reported this same thing, and even thought he could reproduce it through a specific set of steps. I'll try to chat with him today to see how he solved this. This is only the second time I've heard of this problem. |

I've noticed my TWGS does the same exact thing, exept I can recreate the error many diferent ways. It seems to happen when I change more than one single thing in the "Configure..." area. Heres something that can cause the error: 1) Change the node number from 100 to 50 or really from any number to any number. 2) Change the default menu screen to INTRO.ANS just by clicking the checkbox, or change it back to default by clicking the checkbox. 3) Click on OK to save your changes. BAM! Index Out of Bounds Message.... Its like that with pretty much every multiple change I make. The changes save, however, just the error pops up. Really, I think I have narrowed it down to just messing with more than one thing, I may be wrong tho. I havent complained about it because my changes do actually save, because when I go back into "Configure..." all my changes are there. Here is my system information: P4 1.7GHz 256MB RAM Windows2000 Server Logged in as Administrator |

Same thing happens for me every time I try to add a game, but it always works and other people have reported it, so I've never bothered to say anything. |

well, I just came home and tried what I had written up there, and its not doing it, so it might also be for just adding games for me as well. [:I] I must have been having a diferent problem on my older system with it doing that error because it seemed like it was doing it all the time, but then again, thats also when I was adding games all the time, heh. I DID, however, just try to add a game and it did display the same error.[xx(] |

Okay, for everyone here. This is a current bug in TWGS. I have personally brought this to JP's attention about .54. Just before .55 came out. He was not able to get the fix for it in .55. But, he had told me it would be fixed in .56. |
