I have had a problem recently in my game. I think the game time got messed up somehow. At one point, everyone who logged on had their turns reduced to about 400 (from 1800). Since that time, it seems as if the ports are not regening at all. Does anyone know of a way to fix this easily? or am I going to have to do something crazy with the server? Also, can anyone think of a reason why the game calendar is off by one day of the week? The date is correct, but the day is not. The game thinks that Tuesday is actually Wednesday, etc. Thanks in advance, Wildside |

Make sure your YEAR is set correctly in your RTC on your computer (Real Time Clock, ya know,t hat thing in CMOS settup?). I switched my TWGS from a crappy 400 to a 1.7 GHz a few days ago, not thinking to look at the date after I got everything installed. It was funny because everyone who tried to log in it said "You must wait 7349 days before you can re-enter this game". I freaked out and started setting everyone's last on days under TEDIT to 0. Then i figured out my clock said 01/01/81 or something like that, heheh. Then when people logged in it said, you havent been on in 7349 (or something) days. Pretty funny, all because of my stupid RTC. Oh well, you live and you learn my friend. [:)] |
