I gotta say this sucks.. there needs to be some kind of attack handling to stop this crap. my session went like this

you fled in your trusty escape pod
tweety entered sector
tweety destroyed your escape pod
...

this all took about 2 seconds. after engauging the tw to sector 1 i was immediatly in my escape pod and while i was figuring out what happened about 1 second later i was out of the game ship destroyed thank you for playing.

there needs to be some kind of pause after xxx is powering weapons to allow you to flee or fight back based on the attack abilities of your ship.
