I know you can edit the intro page. It's ansi and since I come from the DOS era, I had no trouble editing it at all. BUT, here's what I want to know. How can I eliminate that intro screen? It just doesn't have enough room. I would like to develop a webpage interface directly with the game. Set a link up on the web page for each game. When they click it there, they are dropped directly into the particular game they chose effectively bypassing that intro screen. I'm sure I can make it work by doing a couple html loop de loops but is there a simpler way? Maybe I could start some sort of login script from the link on the web page..? Why do I want to do this you ask? Well, it's really simple. I want to make a small forum at the start of each game where players can put their ideas in for edits and make themselves heard. I also need more space to explain each edit and what I was trying to accomplish with each game. Just a thought.... |

Short of having a web based telnet application that players have to play through, or a bbs that manually moves people where you want them, you can't make a player log in anywhere but at the initial "Enter your name" prompt. |
