I noticed that if I leave fighters to defend a sector, a Ferrengi [scout class, anyways] will warp in and immediatly warp out [and not even show the message]. He never challenged the fighters, just kept warping in now and then. Also I noticed Ferrengi will not attack you if you stay in your computer when they warp in.
