I have seen this setting option in tradewars forever and have been curious as to what it was meant for. Under "edit flags" on ships and planets it of course gives you a list of options by which to allign the ship or planet to 'pirates' I was wondering what that does if it is done. Do these pirates actually do something within the game, like rob ships and ports? and what about alligning a ship to 'Federation' does that make any difference in the play of the game? If anybody know any more info on these settings, please respond. Its had me curious for years
