Back in the TW2002 v.1 days, a script patch was written by some now unknown soul that was totally cool. It immediately sent out a global announcement when a starport fell under attack. example: " ATTENTION!! - Starport (Starport Name) is under attack by hostile forces in sector (sector number). All available Federation Ships, please respond.
