Our problem seems to be that Charter does not have public IPs available for their users. Is there a way we can get or make a public IP so we can run TWGS? Thanks

I'm a Charter customer and I'm happy to report that I've been running a TWGS successfully off of it for the past three years, even after they went to dynamic IPs when @home went belly-up. What you need to do is sign up for a hostname through a dynamic hosting service such as dyndns.org. The hostname is what you publish to players. Then you'll probably want to pick up an auto-refresh application so that you aren't having to manually go back to the web site every time your IP address changes or to make sure they don't drop your hostname from the service. I'm running FreeBSD as a router/firewall and ez-ipupdate with it to accomplish this but I'm sure there's some software of that kind for Windows too.

Try http://www.no-ip.com or http://www.dyndns.org
Both have information and a service to update Dynamic IP's
