Maybe I am missing something, but where are the TWGS docs? The docs for Gold and such are geared toward the player, not the sysop. Most things are self-explanatory, but I am trying to figure out how to access TEDIT remotely.

Any help appreciated.

In the Control Tab , not sure if that is what it is called, there is a spot for a remote admin port. Put a port number in there, and then tell your telnet client to connect to that port.

Look in your configuration for TWGS. For the specific information on IP address and port number.

To do this, while the TWGS is no running ie the server is stopped. Click on the Configure button. Then click on the Server tab. Then look at the information for the Administration Port. Usually it is set to 2003, by default. You can change this that what you want. Also get/check the administation password needed for the server, and if set for the games too. You will need them to log on to the server, and into the games.

Make sure of the IP address you will be using.

Connect to the IP address with the administration port #.


That is it, you should be able to log onto the server in administration mode. Remote Tedit access is through here.
