I am trying to set up twgs to connect from a bbs.. .synchronet...
anyone you know have this setup?

i can see on the twgs side it says connecting but it stops there and doesnt connect... weird huh? Thanks..

Common problem reported by many Synchronet Sysops. Why? I'm not sure, but there -is- a fix for it, courtesy of Poison at Memphis Trade Wars.

Download the following file... there's no documentation to it, but it should be pretty easy to set up and configure. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Most Synchronet sysops have never encountered this problem; you may want to report it to Synchronet's author to help pin it down exactly.

May I ask what Spam you are talking about? Considering many ARE having troubles linking Sync to various TWGW Servers without the fix that was mentioned.

We have a TWGS set up on our Outpost-4 BBS (Synchronet). If you still need help, e-mail me at outpost-4@shaw.ca and I can send you the commands to get it going. You'll also need the bin file I received from EIS that helped me out.

Hey Mike, thanks for reminding me -again- that I really need to get the dedicated EIS support section up and running as soon as possible.
