At daylight savings time colonist populations on Terra in all my games jumped up like mad.. in some cases as much as 100,000 just appeared.
To make it even more interesting their regen rate from that point is like 1-10 a second.
Any ideas?

The problem you are seeing seems to be a conflict between Game time and Real Time... the game assumes the it is still the old time thus regeneration is being multiplied and it is an hour past when the game thinks it is. Thustly it is adding more colonists than it should... Stopping the TWGS Server and starting it back up should remedy this.

I tested this locally and had no anomilies. The colonists regened correctly through the time change and all the way into this afternoon.

Yes the bug hit coastgames as well. Other than Game A it did not matter. All others have plenty of colonists anyway. I have the server set to eastern time. Not sure why it started at about 4am EST. You would think it would have been earlier.

Actually there's some possible logic to the timing. The 2am hourly calculations may have occurred just before the clock got set forward to 3am. So 4am would be the first hourly "tick" after the clocks sprung ahead.
