A user of mine recently complained that he is a good player, but is unable to TransWarp directly into FedSpace. He indicated that several online guides implied that this was possible, but that when he tried it, he met with disaster. Can any of you shed any light on this matter? I am running version 3.09. Are good players supposed to be able to TWarp directly into FedSpace, without one of their fighters there as a beacon? If so, any ideas why my player was unable to do so? If good players are not supposed to be able to do this, any ideas why multiple guides imply that it is possible?

Thanks in advance.

did his alignment drop below 1000 by hitting enemy fighters? if this is the case he would not have been able to transwarp to fedspace.

That sounds most reasonable to me.

I am becoming convinced that this is what happened. I suggested the possibility to him and he agreed it was possible. I then went and conducted some testing of my own, and I've had no problems TWarping to Fed Space.

Thanks again for the help. And if you're looking for a new TW game, feel free to check out the one we just started at harf.no-ip.com

Thanks again!
