Problem with gold aliens when moving server

I recently had some problems with the Alien Manager that was solved only by a system reboot. If that doesn't work, you could try setting all your active aliens to inactive, then resetting back to active. (Gold Alien TEDIT option 6.) I set my gold aliens active and they still don't seem to be active.
