Rogue Limpets

Look at the info below, my script got walled in by some limpets so I investigated and I noticed that they would not go away when I moved over them. I did notice a rogue fighter over a couple, so I figure the limpets may be rogue as well.

Are these limpets supposed to be picked up? I even went to sector 1, and ported after running over numerous and I didn't even have a limpet attached.
