Hi all, i registered TWGS quite a while ago but didn't really get much of an opportunity to try and get it up and running properly. I now have the time to play again but i don't seem to be able to connect to TWGS over internet, only local connection. i have already checked the port and made sure the port forwarding was set up for my firewall. if someone could test the telnet connection to 142.68.51.224:23 and possibly give some advice i would appreciate it. EDIT: got it working on 142.68.51.224:2002 Apparently with McAfee there are multiple places to look in the Firewall settings to make sure traffic can get through to TWGS. Under Traffic Controller options change Smart Access to Monitored Access. Under Smart Advice and Advanced Options change Enabled Smart Advice from Decide Automatically to Ask Me To Decide. Under Ports and System Services you will have to add a new entry to open the port(s) you want open for TWGS. |

I'm able to connect and join a game. I don't like the settings, though (move delay). |
