I know a small group of people were released a newer copy of TWGS that included Jumpgate. It was supposed to be tested with the hope it would be released in the next update. unfortunately that next update still hasn't come. Will Jumpgate ever become a reality or will it die like alien AI? |

True, but the beta IS out there with jumpgate... so EIS community can decide to release that beta as a wide beta and get jumpgate out there for more people. |

There were serious bugs in the version that was released. Planets appearing before they were popped, haz appearing before it should, lots of weird timing bugs. I was told by several sysops that they had higher than usual CPU load as well, and when they went back to non-jumpgate the problems went away. |
