I am running a 4 node twgs with the twgs, game and gold all registered. The problem is I set the turns per player at 2000 per day. The game is not giving the players another 2000 turns the next day. Some players are left at whatever (if any) turns they had from the previous day or they get an odd amount of recovered turns. The extern maint is running from what I see in the logs so I have no clue what is happening. Hope someone can help me. |

New turns are not given at extern, but on the hour, every hour. For example, in the 2000 turn scenario you mentioned, each player will get 83 or 84 turns per hour on the hour. |

Ok that makes sense, that is what is actually happening so it is working correctly. Thanks so much for your help I realy appreciate it. I would also like to know if it is better to run twgs as a service or not. |

I would also like to know if it is better to run twgs as a service or not. It depends on the system setup. Some SysOps have had it load as a service, only to have errors and not load it as a service. The advantage of a service: if the machine reboots, TWGS will load. Disadvantage: the TWGS is not running until you open it or have a link in your StartUp folder. Personally, I don't load it as a service. I have both my TWGS loading from a link in my StartUp folder. |

I also have my twgs in the startup file and it seems to be running fine so I will leave well enough alone |
