Hi all I have a ? is there a Script or a program to Basicly olay for U like trade, firght port sell U know everything I have had a person on my TWGS now for like ever and it is moveing way to fast fo a person to be playing and if there is a program that does this what is it I will like to check it out thanks tbarlow |

The best advice I could give you is to look at TWXProxy (http://www.twxproxy.com), The Grimy Trader's Site (http://www.grimytrader.com). You will find many great scripts there. The scripts range according to category. TWXProxy comes with various scripts, such as World Trade, etc. If you are unfamiliar with helper programs like SWATH, check http://www.swath.net out. TWXProxy is a program that players run with their helper (SWATH, ATTAC, etc). What you do is the following: - download and install TWXProxy. Once completed, run the program. An icon appears in the task tray. - right click the icon and select Setup. A box opens up. - Click the ADD button. Input the details for the server, game name, address (name or IP), the port that server runs, # sectors for the particular game. Once done click OK. - next click on Program tab. Here is where you configure your TWXProxy. On the Port, input a port number you will use. This port will be the port you enter in your helper program to tell it to connect to your TWXProxy. All other settings can stay as they are. - in your helper program, you have to tell the program to connect to the Proxy program first. In SWATH, once you create a Game file, click on Edit, Game Options. Look for the line Proxy Settings (TWXProxy, etc). Input localhost for the hostname/IP and the port your TWXProxy is running. - I am not familiar with other helpers, but I know they can also work with TWXProxy. If you are unfamiliar with SWATH, I have a section on my site (http://www.outpost-4.com/tradewars) that demonstrates how to connect and get started with SWATH. It is located in the TW Academy Section, under SWATH- Library. If you are familiar with the programs I've mentioned, then check The Grimy Trader or ask some of the seasoned players that use scripts to get answers to what script you are searching for or what function you need. |

Thanks I was just mostly wondering but I am going to lookinto it because there has been a person on my server like alday now playing and he is going so fast he has to be useing something thanks tbarlow |

There is a script to do almost anything, and as Thrawn said Grimytrader.com has a lot of good public scripts. Another place to check is Singularity's site, navhaz.com for scripts/macros and read some of the information he has - esp the tw-cabal link. One thing to remember is that even though a lot of us release public scripts, we always have the next generation of script private. |

also.. most everyone sends a copy of their private scripts to me for testing. just to make sure they are working A-ok. ; |
