I am running Trade Wars 2002 ver 3.13. I have a player that had a level 6 planet. He warped it to another sector and logged off. By the time another player attacked it, it was showing as a level 2 planet. Has anyone seen this happen before? Is this a bug, or does it have something to do with the fact that the sector was in a major warp lane? |

Nod, at extern the cit will be reduced to level 2.. However, if planet edits allow a same day level 4 he oughtta be able to re-up it and warp it back out? |

Animal wrote: He warped it into a MSL (major space lane) once there it will never advance higher than l2 I know what Animal means; however, some may take it that if you move a planet into an MSL it automatically becomes a L2 planet. This is true only if you leave the planet there through extern (whatever time that is set to on the server). I learned about MSL's and instant L2 planets the hard way. I played in a local game against some friends and my wife. The wife put a planet in the MSL and left it there - magically it was an L2 after extern. We didn't know why, but we (thought we) knew it would become an L3 at extern. I dropped a planet in to protect her - sat there through extern - poof - L2 and her planet was still an L2. I found a little out of the way website called TW-Cabal and did some reading - live and learn. Before someone says something - no this didn't happen last night - it happened several years ago. |
