1). Global Message Option to ALL Players on TWGS. 2). General Announcement ANSI like the MBBS Version had. 3). Option for generating Game Stats and Scores During Extern. 4). Be Able to Rebang Current Games and Add New Ones on the Fly. 5). Add an Extra TEDIT Flag to Clean the Universe of those 1 Fig Grids or to clean up the space lanes of Defensive Fighters with a Set Amount. Be able to Set Cleaner for Example: >100 figs near StarDock or Terra. 6). Better way to handle dupe accounts Would be nice. Server Auto Bans! 7). Planet Time Delay when Warping a Planet to a Sector. 8.) Regenerating Shields for Both Planets and Ships. 9.) Auto Delete Sector Grid Fighters reporting alien messages. On/OFF in the computer console Thanks Milton |

Ability to turn off alien fig hits (player function) Ability to bang games without shutting down TWGS I second the motion for a general game announcement for the sysop for a single or all games, without having to enter the game. Larger spy window, and the ability to scroll back, and the ability to open multiple spy windows. |

You can do a system announcement through the server shut down, but that is too confusing to players, and causes problems when it is done. So I agree with a way to make announcements server wide, or just game wise, without having to go in the games or use of the server shutdown, I have asked JP for this to be done in the past, hopefully the next version will have it. Also I would love to have the ability to rebang games without having to shut down the server to bang a game, maybe have an option to shut the game being banged down to be able to bang it would work. And the spywindow option RP just posted is agreed on as well as well as fixing it so it don't spaz out when someone goes to leave the server while watching, sometimes it does that and not functions till completely shutting down the server and restarting it. Just some thoughts. Vulcan |

I tried to search the forums but no luck John made an announcement about a year or so ago to the effect that he was done making additions to v3 except for major bugs and jumpgate other than that version 3 is done the way it is. if i remember correctly |

There is always hope! And that new version is rather slow coming out too. |

Animal, yea... he did say that. Let's face it, we're unlikely to see any changes in our lifetime. We are so far from an upgrade that the light from the upgrade homeworld takes 10,000,000 years just to reach us. |

Maybe if we put forth a group plea? I know, we'd still not see it in a few light years. So way to go Sing. Guess any light I thought I saw was apparently the train. |

We can only dream I suppose. We will see when John P ever gets back into the TWGS Project again. Would like to see the 'Jump Gate' Feature Enabled at least. |

Last I heard, Jump gate version was creating more issues than fixing. Wasn't very stable, beta testers had to go back to prior versions. No word on a fix yet that I know of, but not part of the beta team either. |

Yea, during beta there were some seriously FUNK...EH!?!? problems. I had planets appear before my corpie popped them. I'd have debris suddenly clear for no reason. I'd have debris clear, then the planet get popped, but it would take seconds. Weird, bad, stuff. And it isn't looking like JP is about to fix it anytime soon. |

Yeah the beta went sour, but things are looking better soon, JP is working on some new stuff to get the jumpgate working, it is taking longer than predicted, cause he has to work on the projects that are making him his real bread and butter, like a game for the xbox. I don't know what the game is or any info on it is, but will have to wait to see what is going on with it... Anyway, jumpgate got put on hold till the issues can get catalogued then worked on, he will be working on it again soon too, and he is working on some fixes that we had listed here. if they can be fixed without scrapping the whole TWGS. |
