Is it possible to set up TWGS to run off of both telnet & rLogin? I run a 10 node BBS, and use rLogin, so the 100 license would be overkill, but if I can do both I would set it up

Vulcan after playing with it, it seems to be an "either/or" proposition. so I can set it up on the BBS as an rLogin and it passes the username, but to access it outside the BBS the user will have to use a client capable of rLogin (and from what I have seen of the free stuff they dont do ANSI quite right) or I can set it up as telnet, and link it up through the game menu of the BBS (Im running synchronet) but the user would have to re-enter his login name. but those outside can use a plain old telnet client

Actually you can use telnet as well as the rlogin, I have a friend who used it on his bbs, it isn't running now but you might want to look at the toadville website to get Toads Email and ask him how it is setup.

Ouch, I will look at my Emails list and see if I still have his personal Email addy and let you get in touch with him. I will let him know you are going to Email him. Check your PM for the Email.
