Suddenly every time I go into 1 of my games,.. not all of them I get this error:
TEDIT Win32 module now loading.
Error in Non-player Data File.  Resetting all Gold aliens.
[Pause]

This always happens in the same game (Z) and I've already deleted the whole game, reimported a fresh .twa, and get the same error still.  After the pause it goes into the edits, and appears as normal, and I'm able to enter and play normal.
I'm not sure what's causing the error and would like to figure it out.

I would say it's a problem with one of the alien races.   Probably no available ship or you have the intitial number of aliens higher then the max number.  I'd check the settings on the aliens races and I'm sure you'll find something like that.

The problem with that is not only did I delete the old game, I imported a .twa but a totaly different edit, and one that's working as a current game.

I've experienced similar problems from past. I found if I rebang with Default data first, then go back and import the TWA, it worked out fine. Big D hit it with the initial # vs Max Alien #'s as well. I also discovered on occassion that error in relation to a rather large mail file. However, I have not had this issue as much.

Sometimes if you don't delete that specific game directory, there will be description files left behind.  So even if you bang an entirely different game in that spot, it will still read the old description files.  Delete that games entire directory or try rebanging a game with default data files and then import the new game.

It's standard practice for me to wipe the game directory clean before I import a new .twa file, and I did just that.  I'll try a stock game and see what happens.

Try going to the configure tab while the TWGS is offline, and delete the game name you have there, then reinstall it, then import the twa and retry it, sometimes that works too. I have had the same issue, and when what Thrawn suggested doesn't work, I did that and it helped. Or you can delete that gamefile out of the TWGS and reinstall it with a fresh import. I have to try that too to see if it works. Hmmmmm....

I will get back with you on that one, I have to try the last suggestion I gave you.

I already did that,  problem still exists
Since it's on my active site, I don't want to take the board down just now to test the configure tab option yet

Okay try this, it worked on my test, take the TWGS offline, then bring up the Command center, click on the game you want, click the archive and the import to see what game number the game that is giving problems is, then go to program files and to the location you installed TWGS, open up to the games folder, then open the game folder, and go to the folder of the game you have problems with, delete that folder, close the window, then on the TWGS, you bang a game, then close out the command center, cause till you close it out, the other Icons will be unavailable, then when you reopen the command center, all will be available, then import the game you want to the game that you are having problems with, and it should work. Let me know

I know I should have paragraphed that whole thing but I had a train of thought going and didn't want to interuupt it. Laff.
