Well.... back in the day people made all sorts of addon programs for tradewars that allowed sysops to make their games totaly unique. Like adding metor showers, borg, other such things.. Are there any out for tw2002 v3? Id love to have a borg app. what about the AI files for aliens? Anyone ever make any of those? |

Nope, aren't any addons around these days because no one has a library to directly access the data files. >cough< Yet. As for alien AI, the complex AI scripting plans were scrapped a long time ago as far as I know. They don't actually work in the current version. |

Good add-ons would rock. Like a meteor shower that adds eq to the planets in sector, but kills a % of your colonists and shields... Just spitballing. But there's a lot of room for good extras. |

Yeah, if Xen gets that library finished,.. I can see lots happening in the future. I only wish I had the skills to contribute. Instead all I have are ideas! |

I'm sure anything you have old enough to be stored on floppies is for a version of TW way too old for them to work anymore. Heck, the file format has changed 4 or 5 times just in the last 6 point releases. |
