I'm wanting to design a game, and one feature I want is a single alien, not race but 1 alien who is totaly maxed out from the start, who has a spacific ship from the start. The goal would be to kill this alien and get his ship. To do this there is a race of lesser aliens who have a group of ships but one being unique, and nearly as powerfull as the single alien. but doesnt show up right off. and neather ship can be bought, you have to earn it by taking it from the aliens.
I created the unique alien, and ships, but the alien seems to always start with a basic ship. and he is not agressive even though the settings say he should be.. I want this single alient to attack anyone on site, with out mercy. any help... Thanks.

As far as the ship the alein start out with, you should use "Specific ships" only and add just the specific ship you want him to start with on all levels. The aliens set to agrressive and xenophobic doesn't mean they will attack on site, it means they will randomly attack someone entering thier sector. The reason you it seems you get attacked more often in games where there are multiple aliens in one sector is because, with more aliens, you have a higher percentage of being attacked. However you can set it to where when they are attacked, they will attack back instead of flee. Also if you set them to hold grudges, they will be more likely to attack you if you've recentely attacked them. I'm not quite sure how that works now, they used to only hold a grudge against just the CEO of the corp, but I think that was changed to include all members of the corp now.

In a nutshell, the key settings you want for your single alien are:
(1) Settings (C) Days until race appears = 0 (D) Days until full strength = 0 (E) Initial number of aliens = 1 (F) Maximum number of aliens = 1
(3) Spawning Profile This is the toughest screen, but make formulas with really big numbers. The alien will max out his ship on his own anyway through trading most likely, but having him start maxed is handy.
(4) Resources (C) Ships = Exclude both General and Alien ships, Include Specific Ships (E) Specific Ships - On tthis screen you can assign the alien JUST the ship you want him to have (H) - (T) - Set all to 0 so you make sure that one ship is accessible at day zero no matter what its ratings.
Rest is up to you. The (4) screen has most of the stuff you didn't set right, I think.

Thanks guys, I think I have it figured out.. Have a look at game C and let me know what you think. However I wish i could get this alien to attack on site every time.. Oh well.

Also get with me on ICQ I can step you through on making the numbers on the Spawning number, and formula settings, to make the strongest possible evil or good aliens. And don't forget getting with me to get a copy of my Rid*'s Challenge Edit Modified, it has them in it. Just use the formula setups I have for them and you are in business for the evil aliens.
