As the subject says, my TWGS Server hangs when I restart it. I've gone from DSL in Ft. Lauderdale to cable modem in Friendship NY (I moved 3 wks ago). For the past 18 or so months I was on Florida's west coast with a dial-up connection so I didn't use it as I figured a game server on a dial-up connection would have been entirely too slow for most players. Now that I've got the cable internet I'd love to get it back going again. Any suggestions? I've already searched the forums for any similar problems and got no results.

Sorry it's been a couple of days since I was here last but I slipped on some ice and reinjured my back. TWGS seems to load just fine, it's just when I restart it that it hangs. Oso tried helping me but it's still doing the same thing. I've even tried to uninstall TWGS then reinstall it with no luck. A very baffling problem to say the least.

Is it set as a service on Windows or set to run while logged on?
cause if it is set as a service that may be why it is hanging when restarting it. I may have a program that works for you for setting it as a service that doesn't hang it up. Also are you running the jumpgate beta one or the standard one?
