What would I need to set up a server to run it on. I have the 100 node twgs with gold, (the $80.00 package) I have a domain already. I have had a dedicated server it was a p4 1.8gHz with 512 ram and 10mb uplink running a full version Windows Server 2003. It ran about 110.00 per month which include 1000gigs transfer per month. Is the above server overkill? What specs should I be looking for? Recommended specs rather than minimum Help. Cernnunos The following is the minimum requirements from the EIS site Minimum recommended machine: Pentium 75 16 Meg Memory 56K Modem Win95/98/NT4 |

I'm running on a P4 2.4 Ghz, 1 GB RAM. The lower the machine specs, the lower you want to keep the nodes. The machine you have could run your TWGS and your website together. On our network here, my P4 runs the TWGS and BBS, plus I have VMWare Workstation and it runs a Windows 2000 virtual container housing my websites, DNS and mail server. So your specs are more than enough. |
