Currently we have our first TWGS set to 40 commands/cycle. I am curious if other SysOps have found a good setting for this that benefits players. I assume setting this value higher would place load on the TWGS, so I'm trying to find a good value that works best. Suggestions? |

I currently have mine set at 100 and with an average of 25 players it will run the CPUs at about 30-45% with most people scripting. However you get more than 5 people running Turbo SST and the numbers go higher. I found I had to run it at 20 and sometimes 10 back on the old motherboard. Its trial and error. I read here someone said not to run it at 0 (unlimited) for some problem it caused. |

Thank you for the advice. Running a dual-processor as well, we altered our Commands/Cycle from 40 to 80. I'll let it ride there and see what happens. A few players said it picked up for them a bit, and my CPU usage flickers from 16%-35%. |

If you set it to 0 for umlim, it will let so many commands througth that it may slow down the whole server, and cause major lag, I have not had it to happen tho, but followed the advice anyway, I keep mine at 30 commande per cycle. and works very fine. I may bump it up to 100 to see what happens tho. |
