I know there are more site and servers out there then what I have accumulated thus far, I don’t have the time to race around gathering all this info on my own. So, with that in mind if you are interested in having your info included in the TradeWars Compendium (still in the works) as well as an interactive viewer (also still in the works) and your site info is not already included or is the information is not all accurate then please drop a post advising of the to be corrected info or of the info to be added, the link below is all I have to date, (not including the website info from The Stardock site, which I am planning on adding.)

The sections are as follows:

TradeWars 2002 Support Forums
(Only for a public user forums dedicated web-site address)

TradeWars 2002 Helper Programs
(For TW helpers and TWGS related programs, admin/website related programs, etc.)

TradeWars 2002 Web-sites
(For actual web-sites containing game and/or server related info.)

TradeWars 2002 Dedicated Game Servers
(for direct telnet and port addresses and related information.)

The PDF link below give a better summation of the above guidelines. Thanks in advance!

Very nice project. Forgive my question, it's a Canadian thing. Will this be available for us to download? Perhaps include on our sites, etc...

Oh yea, this is more of a community project for future generations, so to speak, totally public domain, do with as you wish; so long as it does not violate copyrights, trademarks, discredit the author's, their sites or servers, , etc.

Understood. Is there a time frame this project will be done? Hope to see the final before I leave, but if not I'd be grateful if you could keep a copy for me when I return.

Sure will have a copy for you available (or Vulcan will hahaa), honestly though it will prob be another 1-2 months before everything is ready for actual use, prob about 3-4 weeks before a “beta/test” (so to speak) is available, this project so far includes:

A complete TWX Proxy Manual w/ many related extra’s packed within.
A Glossary of TW terms
A well rounded TWGS/Admin/TW helper reference guide
A quick reference formula’s guide and related cheat-sheets
--All to be in PDF format-- and possibly Excel/Word? (as the sheets change both from and to portrait and landscape so this is an issue.)

And as a motivational idea I came up with a project designed to help me learn web-development a CSS project that I have been working like a madman on for this last month; I have been learning as I go on this one so everything is still iffy with it, but I am hopping to include: a local web-browser shortcut that servers as a document viewer that also permits black and white document printing, a full links page, an archive page that includes all the known tournament info and old school TW info. All within a pretty snappy hot GUI. (so far this has been coming along much better then I was even initially hoping for.)

After-which I think the only remaining projects left are for the completion of the GameOps Worksheets, which includes a glossary and explanation of Editor commands. Also a complete TW ANSI revision. I think I covered everything, might have been a few more bits I have forgotten about.

Where is it going now and do ya know about when?

Not sure when the change will take place but know it will be when the new v3 twgs comes out and the jumpgate, the EIS forums will be incorporated inside a new Portal for Trade Wars. I am not sure on the date things will change, but will be for the better and have more things available to us as well.
