Hello! I paid for a TW2002 registration on May 8, but have not received a code or any e-mail after three weeks. I followed up with the registration form on May 9 and again on May 14 using very polite e-mails. But still no code or reply. I understand that EIS staff have real lives and do not respond "instantly." However, I am wondering if this is normal EIS practice, or if my e-mail provider is blocking EIS messages, or if the code has been sent via snail mail. Anyone have any suggestions? By the way, I am registering TW2002 for a small game with my kids on our house network. I am a strong proponent of corrupting the youth. Regards, David Peterson [:)] |

Yeah, I've tried sending the codes from 4 different email addresses, and every one of them gets bounced. Three of them are domains hosted by Network Solutions, and one by Yahoo, so I don't know why they'd be blacklisted. You should clear email from jpritch@eisonline.com and I'll try again. |

Thanks very much for making so many attempts to get the registration to me! I cannot do much about our overzealous e-mail filtering. However, if you wouldn't mind attempting to get the registration to me through my work address, I would appreciate it. The message should go through if sent to me at d.j.peterson@larc.nasa.gov. Thanks very much and sorry for the trouble! For the most part, 3 weeks seems to be the amount of time it takes... you may very well just be taking more time due to bad timing. wait it out two more weeks(I know its hard to keep the youngin's at bay) then start the serious *****ing. |

Wow is this really still true? I hate to start by winning and complaining, but I guess I just expect this to be an easily automated process (I mean the taking of my money was a 30 second process for example). So I talked the game up and got about 8 people hyped and ready to play and I expected to have a server running by tonight . . . Three weeks from now - no one is going to be interested, the moment will have passed, and I won’t even be in the country. Is there nothing that can be done? I kinda feel like I may have just tossed good money out the window. Am I completely off base here? |

. I'm sure my case isn't typical, but I got my codes in like 3 days... Results may vary... |

It takes me about 30 seconds to process a registration from when I see it, so depending on the timing, you can have your code within a few minutes of registering, even though it's still not automated. worst-case is I'm out of town, or even worse, I send it back right away but you don't receive it (sorry, David!). I'm in the process of improving the registration process right now after to many years of not touching it, but I still don't plan to automated it. Because of the nature of my customer base, it just tends to work best if I handle things "live". Don't tell people 3 weeks is typical. That's just silly. If it's more than a day or two something's wrong and you should email me. |

I honor free upgrades for all TW versions. Just email me at jpritch@eisonline.com because I don't make it on to this forum very often. |
