What are the normal prices for each, and how do you adjust them? One of my games has prices that seem odd. Any thoughts? |

If your refering to twgs current version (old dos versions same but on a slight differant schedual) About every 28 days fig price goes from highist to lowist. And shield prices go from lowist to highist. Oposite of each other. I forget low price .. I think 110 to high of 290 I might need to recheck those , or someone can test this on their server by ajusting the date to get those values. Dos works the same , but on differant date starts & ends. This was changed in twgs v3.12.23~25 If memory serves. Hope this helps. |

I seam to remember this from someplace as the fig and shield price data Class 0 Ports Highest prices for Fighters = 239 Shields = 189 Lowest prices for Fighters = 160 Shields = 110 But i am getting old so the memory might be off just a bit. : ) |

Ok Zen that makes sense, it correlates to my findings, thus far. One thing I noticed as I double-checked the outcome was that the Holds would sometimes round up and down by 1 from the previously given figure, also this occurred for both the Fighters and Shields figures as well. So, there is a little bug or some slight randomness to the price routine. Very well done [:)] Answered and showed work .. add that to the glossery [;)] I had not noted the randon jumps , I thought it was more of a smooth 2-3 days increase and decrease to acure. But since the work is shown .. thats the proof I need. Again .. nice job to arive at that answer [:P] |
