I am upgrading the hardware that I use. I have built up the new server, and would like to move the games currently running on the old server to the new one. Is there any way to do this without a rebang?

Regards
Guy

Yea, just copy your entire twgs directory from A to B, preserving locations (subdirectories stay the same) and fire it up on the new system. Then point the IP over.

You seem to have left out a step ..

When you install TWGS on the new system before moving games ..
Put in the reg codes & bang one game to insure it is working.
then turn server off again and go into configure .. make as many games as you had on your old server.

Then turn TWGS completely off ..
And move those files/directorys Singularity had mentioned.
All should work as if still on the original machine (but faster).

Hope this helps.

Well, it is all done. I did the file move, thought the games might have auto-populated but I just had to add them to the new server. All seems good. Thanks for the info all.
