I have an issue others may have seen. I notice when looking at my task manager that occasionally my board will slow down and lag. when it does this I notice that the CPU usage is also at 100% and one entry tw2002 is running at 60-70% of the CPU usage.
This I know corresponds to a particular user. My question is a s follows:
Does anyone know of a way to either STOP this massive resource eating or how to prevent this from happening again?

sometimes the twgs ghosts and causes one of the games to have a heavy draw on the hosting puter, you have to shut down the twgs, and exit it, then go to the task manager and look for any info that is still from the twgs that is showing, and end process it. sometimes just shutting it down and exiting it will get rid of the ghosting. Try that and let me know if it worked.

Might this have anything to do with what I read in another forum about players using cimhunter scripts that tend to chew up resources or am I barking up the wrong tree? Seems I read something about issue of cim and ztm using resources but other replies seemed to leave that out re creating lag and such.

ZTM isn't supposed to do that anymore. I don't think CIM does either. Xport will, tho, if you have a large number of ships. Get about 100 ships and run an xport macro loop, you'll see what I mean.
