OK...I am NOT a gameop but keep in touch with various gameops and I have a couple questions that have recently came up and if anyone can help with the answers it would be deeply appreciated. The first has been discussed in various places and I can't find the info anymore... Are ship, rob, probe delays Global across all games on a server and if not how can they be set to affect various games? The second I don't recall seeing...will turning off delays have any measurable effect regarding the use of server resources? Thanks in advance! |

First question- I dont bleieve they are global. Things like inactivity check and delete times are though. Second Question- Very little. I actually tested this and it was a small, nonimpacting change in processor usage. |
