Well, I've done my part (paid), and JP has done his part (sent me the codes), and darn it if I didn't find out WHERE THE DEUCE I'm supposed to enter these blasted things! I have two main problems: A) I was directed to that 3.13/TWGS Beta page and instructed to download it (now the only thing that comes up out of the folder I downloaded all that stuff into is the TWGS, which I didn't pay to register, am glad to have though, but still have no idea how to operate). I'm not sure whether the next step involves this new TWGS or not, but I'd rather not lose the info I have on the game I've been playing with my TW vers. 3.09. B) Just how do I enter my registration codes for my 3.09 version? Is that even possible? If I have to, I'll register with the 3.13 version, but I'd rather not. Please, someone help me. Perhaps I may still salvage half of this Labor Day's weekend. Thanks, Michael |

Hmm wait. Why are you using 3.09 instead of upping to 3.13? I don't think it costs anything extra. Does it? [Edit] Nevermind, you have a game you have and want to up to reg. Fair enough. If you're talking about just DOS tradewars, the game, not TWGS, then you simply load tedit and choose general editor one, and at the top you put gold and standard reg codes in. If you have twgs, which I recommend, this is even easier. You can do it via tedit, or you can simply click on Command Center, then at the top there's a little menu option "Registration" click on that and down on "Enter Registration Codes." Plain and simple. Another way, when the twgs server is offline, at the top choose Server from the menu. Then Configure. Then the Register tab. From here you can put in TWGS codes as well as TW and gold codes. |

If you follow the instructions right all you have to do is copy and paste the codes into the TWGS |
