I made a major goof with my computer yesterday, I checked a date in May with my computer's calendar and then forgot to reset it back to April so my system thought it was May. As a result, ALL of my games are 30 days out of whack. Do I need to rebang ALL of my games because of this?

I'm afraid .. YES ..
always turn TWGS if you plan to play with time/date setting on the servers sysem .. or anyone playing will be out of sync.

<laughing> yes, new games will be starting soon, just as soon as i grt some coffee.

I honestly never thought about any possible affect checking a date like that could cause, especially when one forgets to change it back.

If after checking the date, you hit 'cancel', it won't make any changes in the system.

Now BACKUPS would have came in handy. I back up my GAME folder often. They wouldn't have been affected by the time/date change. And once you noticed the err of your ways your backups could have saved a headache and a cup of coffee :)

Actually, they WERE backed up and I imported those backed up files. Found them to be the same way. I ended up having to bring them in from a separate TWGS Games folder, import those, rebang those then reset everything up. Was quite the headache but I know not to repeat the error <laughing>.

Yeah, Quaser, and most of them have been my own doing, but we learn. Bethel, I was wrong. I didn't have the existing games backed up, I had simply tried to rebang them with the existing data and every game was wacked out so ended up importing the original twa files for each game then rebanging.
