Hey everybody; A friend of mine recently ran into this problem. In one particular game, she's unable to express warp anywhere. All of her movement has to be done one warp at a time. She's re-created her databases, tried a course plotter....everything. It's as if her surrounding sectors are all avoided. Which they aren't. She created a dupe player to test it; Same problem. I'm not having this problem, and asked another player....who's also not having any problem. Any ideas? I'll post a screen cap.
Command [TL=00:00:00]:[2017] (?=Help)? : N
<Set Course to NavPoint>
(T) Sector : 1 in The Federation.
Ports : Sol, Class 0 (Special)
Planets : (M) Terra
(S) Sector : 7070 in The Federation.
Ports : Stargate Alpha I, Class 9 (Special) (StarDock)
Choose NavPoint (?=Help) [Q] : S
<Move>
Warping to Sector 7070
That Warp Lane is not adjacent.
Computing shortest path...
*** Error - No route within 45 warps from sector 2017 to sector 7070
Clear Avoids? Yes

I would guess some sort of corruption. I have never seen anything like that before.

When something like this happens, it's helpful to have the sysop package up the game in an archive (TWA file) and send it to me so I can poke around and see what happened.
