Would someone please tell me how the menu is structured on the twgs, regarding layout, names and placement of ansi display files?

I've made ansi description menus' but cannot find documentation on the naming and placement of these.

e.g. Press ! for description...[press ! get desc.ans..(i think) where one should press "a" for description of game a...results in "no description for this game" message..


Any guidance will be appreciated.

Under Configure | Games, click on the game you want the ! info on, then click on File next to the extended info box, then choose the file you want for the ! info.

you know this is all fine and dandy EXCEPT IT DONT WORK...

thats two questions ive wanted to ask that were not answered with any degree of accuracy.

Worked fine for me, I tested before posting on it. I selected just a plain .txt file there, it said something like "This isn't in the right directory, want me to copy it there?", I said yes, and it did so. I started the server, went to the ! menu, selected the game I wanted, and that info was there.

As I expected, I drew up a couple of ansi desdriptions files and followed the instructions you gave. Worked exactly as I wanted.
