[?] Is there a way to control how often a certian planet is created, I have notice on my server, that all custom planets are hard for the players to get, like a 1 in 100 chance, is there any particular reason for this, and can I change it?

Yes. Don't know how. I just play and listen. [:D]

If you replace the stock planets with gold edited ones, they should be easier to create. If you just add them to the current planet list, you have better luck with a slightly overloaded sector when trying to make them.

Basicly it works like this, if you look at your planets in t-edit, from top to bottom, the first planet is most common to get, the second is next most common, so as you get planets further down the list they get less and less common to get so you need to overload the sector in order for them to appear. If you want a planet to appear more often then move it up the list further, and the opposite if you want it to appear less.

I believe if you have stock planets and gold planets, it's easier to get a gold planet if you overload the sector. Keep busting that 6th planet until you get the one you want. Don't forget to bust one of the others before tern.

Or simply bust a sector full of planets then come back later that day or the next and start busting them again. Your chances of getting edited planets increases.

Hey Boss, have you actually tested this out? Some of the games I have ran I've added up to 30 planet types. I'd certainly be interested in hearing some hard data on this.
