I need some testing of a bug. I found in v56 & v57 that a player with ISS can loose alinment below 400 and still not recieve messages from feds or loose ISS. Although they can not buy another one ..they can use it. What I need is to have this tested in v55 to see if it existed before v56 . Please help ..and get back to me here as soon as possible. |

I dont understand what the problem is. Any player who is of positive align can fly a iss, only those who have align of +1000 can get into the iss or even buy one for that matter. Where did the 400 number come from? |

The way it's described in the game, only a commisioned player should be able to fly an ISS. As it is, a non-commisioned but possitively aligned player can also fly it. Not sure if that's by design or because of a bug. |

I'm not sure if it would be a bug either. I know you shouldn't be able to buy it if you do not have a Federal commision as Harley described. But I believe you can capture one. I think I did that once years ago when I used to play. Of course that was early versions, which is why it doesn't seem to be a bug. I just updated 57 on my server. I look at it and see. Brian |

Right. Sorry misread the post.[:)] So then my question would be, can a negative aligned fly them at all? I realize they would have to capture one, but once they did, could they fly it around without getting it taken away? Brian |

No. You eventually get podded. I believe the Feds hail you as soon as you go red. |

I've spoken with JP and he says it's something he plans to work on for his next major revision, which may be a while again. He's doing some serious overhaul of various areas of coding, from what I understand. |

This is the way it has been since as long as I can remember: You can neither buy or transport into a commissioned ship if you are under the alignment requirement of 1000 regardless if it has been captured or not. You can, as long as you dont go red, remain in the ship even if you go below 1000 alignment, even to 0 such as frequently happens on mixed corps, but if you transport out of it to another ship then you will not be able to get back into it until you get your alignment back to 1000. Similar is true of Corporate CEO flagged ships, you can remain it the ship even if you disband the corp but if you transport out then you cant get back in without creating another corp with you as CEO. |

I agree with Boss on this one. This is how ive ALWAYS seen it. (even recently) |

I also agree with Boss. I believe he is correct on both the ISS and CorpFlag ships. |

That would be nice. |
