Ok, rebanged my games last night and tried to get them set to all default settings so I could start over and now am getting a problem in my non-player data file. Is there an easy fix to this or do I have to uninstall then reinstall TWGS? |

For ships types under <3>Alien Race Editor , option <4> Resources and option <E> Ship types. Make sure there are ships set for them. That is my first guess , but if this isn't it please icq me and I'll look into your edit to locate the next possible problem. |

yeah, i have a feeling that i 'screwed the pooch' when i tried resetting the aliens back to the default settings after i played with the spawn factors. i'm going to delete the aliens and re-do them, see if that helps any. if not, i've added you, Vid, to my icq. then perhaps you can take a look. |

ok. problem turned out to be in the 2nd game so i deleted that and i can get back into it again. but that brings up another question. since the problem was in the gold races i'd created i tried to delete them then was told i couldn't delete it?? i thought ferrengi were the only races that were stock to twar? |

Thanks Vid Kid for all of your help. So far everything looks good and is working well. As soon as I am sure that nothing more will happen, I WILL change my signature so that the address is there. And for all who care, yes, I DO enjoy playing in my own game and don't cheat while playing. I have 2 games, a 5k unlimited time/turn game that is slightly edited and a 20k unlimited time/turn game that's heavily edited. |
