I'm sure someone will know the answer to this one..
I used to run TWGS under Win98SE. I formatted the hard disk to run a clean install of XPPro and didn't reload TWGS until yesterday. All my codes worked (reg'd TWGS Gold), but when I tried to run BigBang, the ANSI graphics screens are messed up.
Of course, the first thing I did was check Config.sys for ANSI.SYS file, and it was not present, so I put that in and rebooted. Still no luck with BigBang, and ANSI.SYS does not show up in the running processes under Ctrl-Alt-Del.
Any suggestions?

I've never run winxp, but even in win98se, you don't need to put anything in your config.sys to make it work. I've never before heard of having to do anything with ansi.sys.

I have run TWGS on NT4, win 2k and win xp home and pro. Never any problems with any of them. For my main server I prefer the 2k as it has less overhead then XP.
