I am having an issue with the TWGS Server. It is running beautifully and very fast except for one thing. I have had an issue with users being unable to dock at ports. It says Docking... and kicks them back out to the sector's regular menu.

I didn't realize what was going on, I tried to figure it out, then I noticed when I was running a script that was doing cim hunting for me that it picked up several ports had negative numbers. I remember some of the ports being troublesome to port at, and so I tried and it indeed is true, for some reason these ports have negative numbers in their products, I am unsure if it is in production or if in the quantity of what they have (my guess is quantity). I do not know how it happened, I am extremely confused. I don't want to have to reset the game as it is only a week old but the players are pretty developed. Is tehre some way I can reset the ports without having to reset the entire game safely? I also tried to edit the ports individually but the ones with the negative values simply kick me back out to the menu i was in. If I attempted to edit the sector it was in and go into the port editor from there, tedit returned me to the sector editor menu w/o ever displaying the port edit menu.
If I did it frmo the main edit menu it kicked me back there. The universe is 10000 sectors, ports are set to regen 200% a day (which really confuses me as to how they could have possibly wound up negative) there are 5 active alien races and a lot of editted ships (all of the original ships have been left in place). The confusing thing is I've editted every single thing except ports, and this is the one thing that's causing real problems.
Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

It is probally a know problem with the tunnels in the new bubbles in version .55
Set the tunnel depth to zero when banging a game. Hopefully, now that J.P. is home a new release will come out. (Fingers crossed)

If you want to read more about it check out this thread.

I guess as the case sits then I will just blow up the ports individually as I come across them. :) I'd perfer not hafta rebang the game.

Thanks though, I will remember it for future game bangs.

I wouldn't panic over port volumes with negative numbers, as these are usually Buy items. A SSS port, for example, will show surplus product sitting on the dock when running a CIM download. A BBB port should show negative product levels.

I believe the Gold bubbles problem is a separate issue from the negative port volumes, but it is possible they are related.
