I am trying to make my game server more appealing to my gamers, but I don't feel comfortable enough to make certain changes. My biggest fear is screwing the settings up so much that it gets out of control. Is there any presets that people have made or writen down that work for them? I like the idea of mods or themes. Basicly I am looking for someone to take me under their wing and help guide me in the right directions. BTW, are there anyother door games I can run like TW2002, I love SRE, LORD and LOD....Aren't BBS games the best[:D] ~XTremeZ http://members.cox.net/tw2002 mailto:tw2002@cox.net |

The sysop there has a section on his webpage with a lot of different .twa game exports. It might be a good place to start for introducing some variety. |

[:D] and Welcome to the community XTremeZ! You'll find if you ask the right people, there are alot of ideas floating about. Your taking a fine step opening the doors to suggestions. Becareful of how you announce your address prior to establishing your settings however because your first impression tends to make a valuable lasting impression here. For import game settings (they've been circulating servers alot lately) you can use one of The Reverend's REV-EDITS or perhaps a Res Judicata famous RES-EDIT. There are more available but you have to search deeper. BTW - A good characteristic to remember a server by is the original game edit success, so keep your creativity open to designing your own to contribute to the community. Goodluck! |
