Greetings. I am wanting to add new aliens to my TW2002 games, something along the lines of the various 'extenders' I see for v2, like the Borg, Cardassians, Romulans, etc. I am assuming that these will not work with the current version of TW2002 released with TWGS? If they do, anything special I need to do? If they won't, is there any easy way do add similiar alien races to this version of TW? Aluve, TrIaX |

well i'm not really sure of what u mean but yes if u own the gold service part of TW then u can create custom aliens but other then that no |

I have heard that one person was in the works of creating some kind of TW extenders, external programs like you had mentioned, for v3 of TW. But, last I had heard he was not creating any new aliens and such. There is in the works some extender scripts, not programs, that will add some of the stuff that other programs had done for v1.xx and v2.xx. Those have been mention here in the TWGS Sysop/GameOp Forum and the TWGS, TW2002, and TW Gold Support forum. These scripts are currently in alpha stage of development. And in some cases pre-alpha. So it will be a while for them to be done. Look for them to be releases soon. Their release will posted here and other forums and sites. |
