Ok, heres the deal. I'm having WAY too many problems running my TWGS on this computer with 98 on it. I have a Sun UltraSPARC 10s 440MHz with 512M of ram on it just sitting here collecting dust (it was running SETI@Home, and kicking the Butt out of the one running on my 1.8GHz Intel) and I think I have come to the conclusion that it would be better suited for running my TWGS.
Ok, I know I have heard of people running TWGS on Linux, but my search resulted in only two threads about other things. Is there any information out there, or any helpful SysOps out there that could let me know your setup? I think I want to try the brand spankin new Aurora SPARC version (current RedHat version ported for 64bit SPARC) and see if I cant get TWGS runnin on it. How do I get a windows app to run on a Linux Box??
Any do/donts to follow? ... Am I crazy for attempting this? ... Will I have to have a BBS front end? ... Is the sky really blue?[:o)]

It's not impossible, but if you're frustrated with it running on a Win98 box, you'll be even more so trying to make it run under a Windows emulator on a *nix machine.

*nod nod* I definatly see your point. I'm a complete newbie to Linux but atleast I am trying, hehe. I think I will just stick to apache and SETI@home runnin on that one and TWGS on win. We'll see, who knows, a week down the line I might revert back to my origional plan of going Win2k server and have it all on the same box. *shrug*[;)]
