Thats right , this question came past me today .. how do I get from -2mill RED to as close to good (0) as I can ..its almost midnight [?] Well the answer was .. CBY To my surprize .. that only made him 1/2 as close as he was [:(] Did this change [?] It use to get you to -10 alinment and 0 exp. This was a shock to me .. I went to my server and started testing , thinking there was a bug at another server I sysop on. Test proved that it works the same way [:(!] Vid's World on Guam telnet://vidsworld.no-ip.org:2002 Home of the Sector Hunter script for Swath |

No, this has not changed. If you are blue and you CBY, you immediately drop to 0 experience and -10 alignment. If you are red and CBY, you immediately drop to 0 experience but only lose half of your alignment. |

I believe getting murdered in the underground (by guessing the password wrong a few times in a row) will take you to 0/0. Could be wrong, though. |

If you want to start over as blue, then do the CBY routine (0, -10). If you want to start over as a red, get murdered at the Stardock by repeatedly trying to break in with the wrong password (or no password at all) (0, 0). Be advised that either method will lose all the credits that you are carrying and forfeit the ship that you are in, so before you do this, stash your credits safely away in the bank, a citadel, or with another player, and get into a scout marauder or other inexpensive ship. |

You can go, but it will not ask you for a password, just tells you you cant come in. And some trash about him standing there with a phasor. So we need another suggestion on how to turn red from blue. DEMON THE PET WILLIE The best way to turn red from a blue. Is one of the 2 below: 1. Find personal figs of a blue player. The higher the blue's Alignment the better. Then attack the figs. This will drop your alignment every time you do so. NOTE: this usually best with a corpmate. 2. Find a blue player, w/ high alignment. That is willing to be podded. Sometimes you have to pay them for this, other times not. Then just pod them once or twice, if they allow the second time. This will also drop your alignment. NOTE: this is usually best with a corpmate. That is it. |

Going from Red to blue... murder at stardock is the best.. before extern, no cash, cheap ship. You will lose it all and be out until after extern. The other ways (upgrading ports) is very time/credit consuming, but you don't lose your experience. Going from Blue to Red... my favorite - attack colonists. Granted, this is not always a resource that you will want to waste, but who said they need to be *your* colonists. |
