Ok, I've edited both the intro.ans and the desc.ans files, but where does the desc.ans file get the descriptions from? I looked through the files and I don't see any that might be a game description.

You will have to turn your server off and go into configuration screen
and where you make a game active , there is a place for your game discription.
You can make it a text file or an ansi file , and make sure you put it in your desc folder.

hope this helps

The only place I see is Description, right above the Data directory field. Is this the place you are talking about? If so, I'm assuming then a filename needs to go in there, correct?

Thanks for the help!

I just set a new server up with the desc file. I used desc2.ans and did a straight ansi screen. It looks good and gives a place for passing info to the players.

I didn't even look at the default. If you don't use the default desc screen setting, you can put anything in there you wish.

Visit slbbs.com port 2002 for a rip roaring game of TW where you also have to battle the Klingons, Romulans, Orians and the Borg.
