I am having a problem on my TWGS where it kicks people out of the games into the menu. These aren't timed games, but people including myself in my test game have been just thrown out to the menu. Any ideas? |

Well, they might be an old problem. (That should have been fixed.) Or it maybe a new problem. But, no one can help you. As you have not given what version of TWGS/TW 2002 that you are using. Nor are you given any specific, detailed, information. As to what is happening just before the player is booted from the game. |

The first thing we need to know is the version. |

Hey there, I am using ver 3 1.02. The complaints I have been hearing is that there is no set formula that kicks you out to the menu. Heres the screen cap of it just doing it You have 2,403,205 credits and 180 empty cargo holds. We are selling up to 410. You have 0 in your holds. How many holds of Organics do you want to buy [180]? 180 Agreed, 180 units. We'll sell them for 5,798 credits. Your offer [5,798] ? 5334 We'll sell them for 5,769 credits. Your offer [5,769] ? 5400 I could have twice that much in the Androcan Empire, but they're yours. For your great trading you receive 2 experience point(s). You have 2,397,805 credits and 0 empty cargo holds. Command [TL=00:55:09]:[14568] (?=Help)? : S Long Range Scan Select (H)olo Scan or (D)ensity Scan or (Q)uit? Odd. Is this happening in just the one game or in multiple games? |

I have 5 games (4 open, 1 closed), they seem to be happening in all of them. I don't know what helpers people are using, but it isn't doing that to me on other servers. |

It appears that all the drops are inactivity timeouts. Check what the timeout is set to, also check that the people who are experiencing problems have comms enabled (cn7). If you are inactive too long, you are booted in that manner. The timeout is sysop configurable. Normally you get warnings at 60, 30 and 10 seconds, but if comms are silenced, you won't recieve them. Additionally, I'm not sure if you receive timeouts warnings anymore at non-interactive subprompts, such as the holo/density menu in that cap. |
